At the helm of the Sun Odyssey 39DS, you will have moments of intense pleasure. You will love the twin steering wheels, which maximize comfort while sailing and ease of movement around the cockpit.

This sailboat is the owner's version, special and very comfortable.

Deck Saloon ( DS ) has large windows in the living room offering excellent visibility and exceptional sea view. Inside, large sofas. Enjoy a fantastic view of the TV with DVD, in a cool environment created by marine air conditioning.

Big kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge, and freezer.

In the back, the owner cabin with a big bed (square two meters). In front, another big cabin with a large double bed and closets.

The toilet, large and spacious, with shower, hot and cold water, and electric toilet. In the back, access to a large storage compartment for luggage and packages stored. On the deck, there are seatings around a wood table with an icebox.

The double wheel on each side of the government leaves a free access way. The boat is also equipped with dual instrumentation necessary for navigation (display of wind, depth sounder, speedometer, GPS plotter). The mainsail is mast roller and furling genoa in front.

License & Skipper Services

Security deposit

A refundable €1,500 security deposit will have to be paid at check-in. Like car rentals, boat charters require a refundable security deposit to cover accidental damage. The amount varies by boat model and is returned after inspection if no damage is found.

Insurance

This boat is managed by a professional charter company with comprehensive insurance. Your liability for damages is limited to the security deposit. For added peace of mind, you can protect your deposit by purchasing deposit insurance.

What happens when I request a quote?

Once we receive your request, we will confirm the availability of the boat, as well as check for alternative ones. To ensure your experience is the best it can be, we may contact you to discuss your request in detail. Let us do the research for you - free of charge.

When can I get in touch with the captain/skipper?

The timing depends on your charter type. For crewed charters, we can provide the captain's contact details upon request. For bareboat charters with a hired skipper, you can request the contact information 1-3 weeks before departure.

What is the Charter Fee?

The Charter Fee is an additional, obligatory cost, which typically includes the end cleaning of the boat, home port fees, and linen & towels. The details of the charter fee differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner.

Are there any other costs I should be aware of?

There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boat’s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.
