- Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden. Allerdings gab es ein paar Dinge die anders waren als gebucht. 1. hatten wir Handtücher und Bettwäsche mitgebucht. Dieses war dem Vercharterer nicht bekannt und somit musste das erst noch besorgt werden und von mir zusätzlich mit 50€ vor Ort bezahlt werden. 2. angekündigt war das Boot mit einen Rollgroßsegel, tatsächlich war aber ein Lattengroßsegel auf dem Boot. Somit musste ich mir erstmal für einen Tag ein Skippertraining buchen, weitere Kosten 250 € 3. laut Foto bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass das Boot nicht nur über eine Sprayhood sondern auch über ein Sonnenverdeck verfügt. Das war leider nicht der Fall. Somit gab es einige Sachen die nicht so perfekt gelaufen sind wie erwartet. Das war ärgerlich. Insgesamt hatten wir dann aber eine schöne Zeit an Bord nachdem die anfänglichen Probleme gelöst waren und es gab ansonsten bis zum Ende unserer Reise wunderschöne Segeltörns auf der Ostsee. Security deposit
A refundable €1,500 security deposit will have to be paid at check-in. Like car rentals, boat charters require a refundable security deposit to cover accidental damage. The amount varies by boat model and is returned after inspection if no damage is found.
Insurance
This boat is managed by a professional charter company with comprehensive insurance. Your liability for damages is limited to the security deposit. For added peace of mind, you can protect your deposit by purchasing deposit insurance.

What happens when I request a quote?
Once we receive your request, we will confirm the availability of the boat, as well as check for alternative ones. To ensure your experience is the best it can be, we may contact you to discuss your request in detail. Let us do the research for you - free of charge.
When can I get in touch with the captain/skipper?
The timing depends on your charter type. For crewed charters, we can provide the captain's contact details upon request. For bareboat charters with a hired skipper, you can request the contact information 1-3 weeks before departure.
What is the Charter Fee?
The Charter Fee is an additional, obligatory cost, which typically includes the end cleaning of the boat, home port fees, and linen & towels. The details of the charter fee differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner.
Are there any other costs I should be aware of?
There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boat’s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.
